Byes: Atlanta Falcons, Denver Broncos, Kansas City Chiefs, Miami Dolphins, Philadelphia Eagles, San Diego Chargers
The Actual Rankings are based my scoring primer. It basically follows ESPNs standard scoring but uses fractional points and slightly devalues passing touchdowns.
Biggest Surprise
The Detroit Lions came in 5 overall for the week. It didn’t hurt Jay Cutler had bruised ribs…by the way, that hit by Suh was not a dirty hit. His job is to take down the quarterback and he did just that. If this play was made by someone not as polarizing as Suh no one would say anything. With their three next opponents being the Jaguars, Vikings and Seahwaks they will be a very sneaky defense. However, after that they play the Packers, Texans, Colts, Cardinals, Falcons and Bears. I recommend holding on to them for the next three weeks and dumping them.
I am not buying the Jacksonville Jaguars at all. Their success is more of a function of Carson Palmer’s poor decision making and overall quality of his play. As a real life team, I do not see any hope for them. They take/create a lot of stupid penalties and the coaching decisions are highly questionable to say the least.
