8. Yu Darvish (TEX) – Wed @LAA
9. Cole Hamels (PHI) – Tue PIT, Sun @NYM

15. Matt Moore (TB) – Mon NYY, Sat @CWS
16. Shelby Miller (STL) – Mon @WSH, Sun PIT
17. Matt Harvey (NYM) – Wed LAD
Additional Information: Of all the pitchers in this section, I’m worried about Matt Cain the most. Cain’s fastball velocity is the lowest of his career and the effectiveness of his secondary is starting to suffer; the batting average on his curveball and changeup this year is .313 while the batting average was only .241 last year.

39. Homer Bailey (CIN) – Fri @WSH
40. Jeremy Hellickson (TB) – Th @CWS
41. Andy Pettitte (NYY) – Wed @TB
Additional Information: Other than his first start, Wade Davis has been extremely good, especially in his last start. These are Gio Gonzalez’s walk rates since 2009 to 2013: 12.3%, 10.8%, 10.5%, 9.3% and 10.6%. Which one looks like the outlier? If he’s going to walk 10.6 percent of batters, he’s a top 20 pitcher instead of a top 10 pitcher. With a great matchup against the Marlins and FIP of 2.63 I’m not worried about Edwin Jackson at all.

52. Wily Peralta (MIL) – Sat @LAD
53. Brandon Morrow (TOR) – Wed @BAL
54. Lance Lynn (STL) – Fri PIT
55. Hyun-Jin Ryu (LAD) – Th @NYM
Additional Information: Felix Doubront’s walk rate has improved from 10 percent to 8.7 percent and his strikeout rate has improved from 23.6 percent last year to 28.3 percent. Lance Lynn’s fastball velocity and command have been hot and cold all year so I have no idea what pitcher you’re going to get. Despite Clay Buchholz’s great start to begin the year, I’m still not buying; the matchup with the A’s is no longer the pitcher friendly matchup it used to be.

73. Brett Anderson (OAK) – Wed @BOS
74. A.J. Griffin (OAK) – Mon @BOS, Sat BAL
75. Clayton Richard (SD) – Fri SF
Additional Information: I’m extremely curious to see how Jarrod Parker pitches tonight in a very favorable matchup @ Tampa Bay tonight. If he continues to falter, he’s out of my top 75. There will not be a better time to start Tim Lincecum than this week. Monitor the status of Brett Anderson over the weekend. He suffered a sprained ankle in his start yesterday. If Anderson goes on the DL, Dan Straily will get the call up and is must add in all formats.
