I use ESPNs standard scoring with a couple alterations. First, I use fractional scoring. Second, quarterbacks receive 4 points for a throwing touchdown instead of 6.
To determine who had the “best” rankings I take the week 4 rankings and sort them from highest to lowest. Then I take everyone’s rankings and minus them from the actual rankings a player received. For example, suppose I ranked Tom Brady 3rd and he ended the week as the 5th best quarterback. The net difference between the my rankings and the actual rankings is 2. I do this for every player and sum up the total.
The “best” rankerĀ would have their sum as close to zero as possible.
