Below is a quick recap for some of the players who played Monday October 8.
Mark Sanchez: He’s not very good and should not be a starting quarterback in the NFL. That said, he has no weapons to throw to and he has no running game. He is quickly becoming (or already is) the scapegoat for how bad the team is, which is not fair.
Andre Johnson: I’m giving myself a pat on the back on this call as I had him ranked 19 while the consensus ranking was top 7. Even though he has elite an elite skill set, the Texans simply do not pass enough for Johnson to be an elite top 10 wide receiver on a consistent basis.
Jets Wide Receivers: I’m bucketing Jeremy Kerley and Chad Schilens together because they’re both not really good. If I had to pick one going forward I would go with Kerley, especially in a PPR.
Matt Schaub: His upside is a bye week fill-in. Like I said about Andre Johnson, the offense does not throw enough to be a reliable fantasy quarterback.
